Originally called the `New Depot` during construction, The Union Station earned its name after uniting multiple railroad stations in Nashville. 🚂
With L&N’s acquisition of the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railroad, it became the hub for trains from across the region. Prior to Union Station, Nashville had 5 different train stations dating back to 1854!
Follow us on social media throughout the year for weekly fun facts and historical stories as we celebrate 125 years of our stunning hotel!
